Atlantis: The new beginning

Karan S One of the finest moments of Tech-Death. Blows you away. The band leader is a goddamn death metal monster. Extremely underrated band. Favorite track: Atlantis.
Ippocalyptica

Ippocalyptica I cannot fathom how this album has not appeared on more "best of" lists for 2015, seeing as how this is easily one of the best death metal albums of the year. Very technical (and I dare say progressive) without crossing into wankery, and very brutal without without sacrificing its unique sense of melody, this album is full of killer death metal. Hypothelemus, in particular, is one of the single best death metal tracks to which I have ever had the pleasure of listening . Highly recommended! Favorite track: Hypothelemus.
Burning Ambulance

Burning Ambulance Lost Soul are one of Poland's greatest unsung death metal bands; they deserve to be as big as Vader or even Behemoth. This album rules.

mercurialdynamo it's hard to describe just how sexy this album is, but I'll give it a shot:

it's fantastically engaging from start to finish, and has a nice flow to it that makes it seem like one vast story, without any contrived parts that kill the momentum. I'm not fucking sure how the vocalist is able to play such technical guitar riffs and sound like a goddamn fire-breathing hell-demon simultaneously! shit is so killer! this is an extremely forward-thinking and ridiculously technically proficient band that deserves your money, so fucking pay them for making the world less dreary with some brutal art! Favorite track: Vastitas Borealis.

about

During their over twenty years in history, LOST SOUL became an inherent part of the Polish death metal scene. Now, the band craves for world domination with “ Atlantis: The new beginning“. Their fifth full-length album is their most ambitious one to date. Production duties were once again helmed by mastermind Jacek Grecki himself while mixing and mastering were done afterwards by none other than Wojtek and Sławek Wiesławski in their renowned Hertz Studios. The diversified sound is rounded out by some felicitous guest appearances by Dave Suzuki (ex-Vital Remains) and the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra (o.a.). In Grecki’s own words: “‘Atlantis’ is damn fast, heavy, evil, dark, spacious, extremely massive and technical. It's with no doubt a full-blown, merciless metal album.”
